Its purpose is to enhance mental health care for Veterans and their family members through dialogue and collaboration between the VA and the Community to ensure they receive timely and appropriate care. It focuses on Suicide Prevention and Improving Veteran access to Mental Health Services, and provides opportunities to improve care coordination, identify unmet needs and barriers to care, and recommend solutions to close gaps in care.
