• Responding to local needs and servings as a link for community programs and organizations
  
  Identifying and responding to current and emergent public and mental health issues
  
  Advocating for health equity to reduce disparities and expand access to quality health care services in our communities.
  
  Improving practicing health professionals' skills and competencies necessary to develop, maintain, and improve access to quality health care to rural and medically underserved communities.
  
  Focusing on recruitment, clinical placement and retention activities to address community healthcare workforce needs.
